The talk revisits in modern times the journey made by the speaker’s great grandmother when emigrating from Wales to the USA in C19.
London Group members learned of the C19 journey in February last year and the mystery of identifying the most likely route at the time of travel.
The talk shows the modern railway infrastructure in the USA and selected remaining historical infrastructure following the route in the title.
 
In London we try to have one internationally themed talk in a normal season and this was pencilled in for February 2021 before the public health crisis.
