SUMMARY:Walk: Glaisdale’s Past Industrial Lines
DESCRIPTION:Glaisdale’s Past Industrial Lines\, by invitation of the Rail
 way Ramblers' Club. A re-run of two favourite\, circular walks (2½ miles 
 &amp\; 3 miles)\, this time jointly with Cleveland Industrial Archaeology 
 Society. Meet at 10.30 at Glaisdale War Memorial (NZ 775054) where there i
 s roadside car parking. (Public transport in the area is infrequent and th
 e timings are unsuitable). OS maps Landranger 94\, Explorer OL27.\n\nIn th
 e morning looking at the remains of the never-completed “Paddy Waddle’
 s Railway” (Cleveland Extension Mineral Railway) then following a picnic
  lunch on Glaisdale village green\, a walk along the trackbed of Glaisdale
 's ironstone tramway across the moor to Postgate quarries and ironstone mi
 ne site. Wear strong footwear\; a walking stick will be useful. Leader Jan

 nd\, as such\, RCHS members attending are not covered by the Society's ins
