After a short re-arranged AGM there will be an illustrated talk by Rob Shorland-Ball about Cambridge Station, opened in 1845 and famous for its very long through platform. It was a 19th century railway hub where four principal railway companies all worked in a tangle of mutual inconvenience.   Rob is a born story teller so Cambridge station comes to life in this talk.
